Covid-19 Information

Our workforce is now all back in the office, working within the social distanced guidelines. This allows us to answer your phone calls and emails as normal.


COVID-19 Health & Safety Update regarding customer collections – please read prior to arriving on site

We now have permanent staff on our Trade Counter, which means that Trade Counter Collections are permissible during our normal trading hours of 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.

For everyone’s safety, we still recommend that all collections are pre-arranged with the sales office prior to arrival. Please contact our main sales office line on 01386 760066 to discuss your requirements, an order can then be placed.


When collecting goods these procedures must be adhered to at all times.

  1. On arrival please make your way to our Trade Counter
  2. Our trade counter is limited to one person at a time. Therefore if the trade counter is occupied, please wait outside while adhering to social distancing until the trade counter becomes vacant.
  3. Once inside, we have set up screens to protect both our staff and customers.
  4. If you are collecting a large palletised item, please still enter through the main entrance where you will be directed to your designated pick up area.
  5. The member of the team will request your name and will sign the collection note on your behalf.


Please note that AWC staff will not be able to assist with loading goods into customer vehicles.

* Please note that all collections are made in front of our CCTV cameras. Any claims for collections will need to be made within 30 days.
